Kibana Install in MAC OS using darwin package?

Since it was an urgency, i installed using tar.gz darwin package of kibana.
Can darwin package for kibana & Elasticsearch be installed as standard in mac OS?
Or should we always use homebrew?

For Mac, both tar.gz and homebrew can be used. Here is the doc for the deployment options available: Install Kibana | Kibana Guide [7.13] | Elastic
