Kibana pivot table with expandable rows

Hello, I'm using Kibana and the enhanced table plugin but I'm not able to get what I want from it.

I upload this screen to help me explain. I would love to get something similar, with all the data aggregated. For example, here I have years as the first field, so I want to see the total result of each year, then if I'm interested in expanding a particular year, I can press on it and see the details about my second field, and so on.

Is it even possible in Kibana (maybe with another plugin)?

EDIT: I'm using Elasticsearch 7.8.0 and Kibana 7.8.1 version.

Hi @Stefano_Sorgente,

Welcome! To confirm, are you looking for row grouping capabilities, and being able to expand to show the underlying data?

The enhanced table plugin is an open source project built by someone in the community. It might be worth raising a feature request on the GitHub project itself to see if there is interest, or even consider contributing the change yourself.

This expansion doesn't look to be possible in Kibana as far as I can see, even in more recent versions. There are some alternatives in this thread. For this precise functionality you could try to build a Kibana plugin leveraging a grid with grouping capabilities, but as I've not tried that myself it would be a guess from me.

Hope that helps!

@stefano_sorgente sei riuscito a trovare un modo per creare la pivot? Sono giorni che cerco info utile ma purtroppo non sono riuscita a trovare nulla di interessante.

Grazie mille,
