Is there any way to maintain the values in the search bar and time settings when using a markdown widget to jump to another dashboard?

The selected time interval should persist when you jump from dashboard to dashboard, unless your dashboard has a time interval saved within it.
Unfortunately, there is no way to "pin" the search query as you can do with filters. Sorry!

That's already halfway a great answer, because my dashboards were exactly saved with default times in order to prevent beeing initialized to the last 15 minutes every time they open.
Too bad about the searchfield, but definately easier to live with
