Hi Team ,

Is there any way to get the out of box alerts for basic license of managed
elk environment without configuring the alerts manually.

Hi @Yogesh_AS,

Which version of Elasticsearch are you using? Can you give an example of what you mean by out of the box alerts? Looking at the documentation there are basic alerts available for monitoring your stack. It would be good to know what kind of alerts you're talking about.

In our current Elasticsearch version 8.13.4, we've noticed that upon installing agents like APM or Elastic agents, we receive metrics such as RAM, CPU, Network, Heap memory, etc. However, we've found that configuring alerts within Elasticsearch needs to be done manually. Is there a method to automate the setup of these alerts upon agent installation, eliminating the need for manual configuration?

Not by default, you would need to use the APIs and build something to do that.

You will need to read the documentation of multiple APIs to build something like that.
