Numbers are shown with decimals (100,000 instead of 100100)

Newbie here:

I use firefox to read Kibana messages and all numbers are shown with decimals. E.g. ID 100100 is shown as 100,100. When I click on the JSON it shows as 100100. I couldn't find any settings on Firefox to change that. Decimals are only shown in Kibana, nowhere else.

Kibana-Version: 6.6.1
Firefox quantum (65.0 - 32bit)
IE (11.967.16299.0)

Thanks!

Hi @alenjazzz,

You may have already checked this, but are you using the default setting for Number Format? You can find this under Management > Kibana > Advanced Settings > General > Number Format.

Number formats in Discover should all be consistent with this setting, regardless of browser. So if you are getting inconsistent results, I'd be interested to know what the current Number Format setting is, so that we can understand which browser is "correct".

Thanks,

Luke

E.g. ID 100100 is shown as 100,100. When I click on the JSON it shows as 100100

If the value is an ID and should be treated as a string, then I would recommend mapping the value as keyword instead of number in Elasticsearch

Thanks  number format settings change fixed the problem.
