Unable to make Kafka Integration to work

Hello Everyone,

I have Elastic Search with fleet, elastic-agent and Kibana, all in version 8.4.3. I am trying to work with integrations and I have successfully enabled few of them. However, I have trouble enabling kafka integration.

The policy (collecting logs) requires me to fill kafka home directory and path to logs. I don't have kafka installed directly on my host - it's running in the container, so I can easily specify the path for logs, but I am not sure what to fill as kafka home directory, so that my integration worked properly.

This is not related to Elasticsearch instead it is more related to how to exchange logs.

You may refer the concept of volume mount .

If you are using docker containers, refer.
