X-Pack is not free (I thought it was)

I decided to give elastic a try. So...

On the products page at the top it says "The Open Source Elastic Stack", I thought it was amazing until I logged in into kibana and saw the 30 days trial period or X-Pack. Disappointed since nowhere it says it's a 30-day trial period.
I thought I finally found my all in one open-source server monitoring tool :frowning:

  • How can I opt-out (now that I opt-in thinking I was helping a completely open source project) the statistical reporting?

  • How can I safely remove everything that is X-Pack (including configuration files and database entries)?

If I decide to use it:

  • If I create a free account, what type of information is transfered from my servers to elastic?
  • What are the frequencies of those transmissions?
  • What does elastic use those informations for?

Thanks!

Thanks - Is this for anonymous data usage sent to elastic?
Edit: never mind found it :stuck_out_tongue:
